Residential — Dubai, UAE — 2025
Dive
Set against the arid landscape of the Emirates, this visualization of the "Dive Project" illustrates a climate-responsive residential model that rethinks traditional urban aggregation. Rather than presenting the home as a freestanding object, the architecture is conceived as a subterranean entity deeply embedded within the earth, utilizing passive strategies to reinterpret historical typologies for a contemporary future. My rendering approach focused on capturing the tactile warmth of the earthen facades and the intricate shadow play cast by the traditional geometric screens, emphasizing the synthesis of raw materiality and structural form. By carefully balancing harsh natural daylight with deep, cooling voids, the resulting imagery conveys a compelling vision of a sustainable, adaptive sanctuary designed for collective resilience and modern domestic comfort.
