The Eye
Developed for Mykonos Architects, this visualization explores “THE EYE,” a conceptual retreat designed to integrate seamlessly into the rugged topography of Amorgos. Drawing structural inspiration from the historic Chozoviotissa Monastery, the architecture presents a striking dialogue between pure geometric volumes and traditional dry stone retaining walls that trace the natural contours of the landscape. My approach to rendering this space focused on achieving highly accurate material textures and utilizing natural Mediterranean lighting to define the spatial depth. The visual narrative deliberately emphasizes key architectural elements, including the monumental circular skylights, the sweeping infinity pool, and the deeply shadowed corridors. The resulting imagery provides a compelling atmospheric study, conveying the quiet luxury of a modern sanctuary anchored firmly within the Aegean cliffs.
